Of all the articles and ads about weight loss and weight loss products, you will notice that many of them seem to be saying that weight loss without exercise is what they have to offer. They will tell you about some diet pill, or perhaps a diet, which is going to take the weight off without you lifting a finger...other than to unscrew the cap.
So here's the question: Can somone really lose weight simply by adjusting their diet? So many people feel that they do not have the time to exercise, or feel they lack the energy to exercise, or just plain don't want to. It would be great if all they had to do was take some pill or eat some specific diet and the weight would go away, right?

Are you interested in losing weight? Whether you would like to improve your health, improve you appearance, or do both, you may be interested in finding a weight loss plan to use. When it comes to weight loss plans, you will find that you have a number of different options. Two of your most common options include paying for a weight loss plan or developing your own. If this is your first time attempting to "seriously," lose weight, you may be wondering whether you should develop your own weight loss plan, also commonly referred to as a weight loss program, or pay for one. One of the best ways to determine which weight loss plan you should use is to examine the pros and cons of each. A few of the most influential advantages and disadvantages to developing your own weight loss plan, as well as paying for one are outlined below. When it comes to paying for a weight loss plan or a weight loss program, you will find that you can do so locally or online. If you choose to participate in a local weight loss program or plan, you will likely meet in a centralized location. Many times, you just get together every week or two. There are some weight loss programs where you can exercise onsite though. Should you choose to join an online weight loss program, you will likely have online meetings or discussions with trainers or other weight loss program members, either on a message board or through emails. You should also have access to healthy recipes and easy to do exercises. One of the many advantages to paying for a weight loss program or a weight loss plan is that you are often given a professional plan. Many times, the individuals or trainers in charge of running these programs have training or firsthand experience with losing weight. This often eliminates trial and error, as many have already learned what works and what does not work with weight loss. In all honestly, the only downside to paying to join a weight loss program or a weight loss plan is that you have to pay to do so. With that in mind, however, you should be able to find affordable weight loss programs and plans, both locally and online. Although it is not guaranteed, many people find the most affordable help in the form of online weight loss programs or online weight loss plans. As for developing your own weight loss plan, there are a number of advantages to doing so. One of those advantages is that you can customize your weight loss plan and program to you. For example, if you were allergic to milk, you could work your allergy into your weight loss program, where as a paid weight loss plan or program may not do so. You can also customize your workouts to yourself. This is great if you are obese and unable to follow many workout videos, which seem like they are designed for those who already in "perfect," shape. Another one of the many advantages to developing your own weight loss plan to follow is that it is fun to do. You also have a number of tools at your fingertips. There are a number of websites and magazines that you can get weight loss information from; information that you can use to create your own weight loss plan to follow. Some individuals have said that creating their own weight loss plan to follow makes them more excited about the process and more likely to see the plan all the way through. The above mentioned factors are just a few of the many that you may want to take into consideration, when trying to determine whether you should develop your own weight loss program or join a paid weight loss program. Many individuals have reported starting their own weight loss program and then later joining a paid one if they didn't get the results that they were hoping for.

After undergoing gall bladder surgery at age twenty-three, Jennette Fulda decided it was time to lose some weight. Actually, more like half her weight. At the time, Jennette weighed 372 pounds.
Jennette was not born fat. But, by fifth grade, her response to a school questionnaire asking “what would you change about your appearance” was “I would be thinner.” Sound familiar?
Half-Assed is the captivating and incredibly honest story of Jennette’s journey to get in shape, lose weight, and change her life. From the beginning—dusting off her never-used treadmill and steering clear of the donut shop—to the end with her goal weight in sight, Jennette wows readers with her determined persistence to shed pounds and the ability to maintain her ever-present sense of self.
I know what you are thinking "Easy Weight Loss Plan", Ya, Right! As a doctor I am always been given information by patients on this and that diet or strategy and it can be unbelievably confusing. Even as a doctor, I am confused. I have taken all sorts of course on nutrition and health and to be quite honest it is all a little over the top for me.I hear all sorts of great evidence to support eating carbs, not eating carbs, eating lots of protein and not eating any protein especially from animal products. While creating more information for my blog, I can across a program that at first looked like another diet but when I actually read through the material, it absolutely blew me away. The concept that you have to completely resrict what you eat and how much you exercise is completely false, and I sort of already had that feeling.Heres the thing, eating more or eating less is not the key it is timing your eating so that you maximize your metabolic burn. This explains a lot for me as a doctor because there are many times I have patients who say they have lots weight yet spent the last two days at a buffet table. If you want to lose weight you need to cycle through consuming more food with less food. Our bodies work and function like waves they are sometimes up and sometimes down.If you can figure out when to ride the wave and when not too, you have figured out the harmonic balance of the body.A simple test is to spend a couple weeks exercising on a regular basis everyday doning your favorite activity, but go through periods of eating more calories followed by periods of eating less calories.Monitor you weight everyday and make note of when your weight starts to drop is it on days after you eat more calories or on days when you eat less calories. Then it is a matter of mastering the weight loss with your cycle. You can find a more detailed explanation at easy weight loss plan

The first 2-3 months are going to be very structured and you will be following the gastric bypass diet that was ordered by your dietitian. But this is a very short time in the grand scheme of things. It is the next several years of your life that will determine your weight loss, whether you maintain it and if you are able to shed your obesity related health issues.
The first six months to a year you will lose weight without trying. The weight is going to come off just because you are not able to consume more than a quarter to a half a cup of food at any given time. You will spend a lot of this time learning about what your body will tolerate and what it will rebel against. This will be an exciting time as you see the pounds come off. You will be able to see your feet again and you will be able to do many things that you have not been able to do for years or maybe you have never done.
But the weight loss will eventually slow down and then stop. From this point forward, the maintenance will be on you. This is where you are going to have to put into practice everything you have learned about nutrition and fitness. You have been blessed with a healthy weight and a changed life, but it will not stay that way if you do not nurture it. If you think that because you have had this surgery that it is impossible for you to gain weight, guess again. There are forums filled with people who have gained weight after surgery and are trying to get rid of it.
Keep those bariatric protein shakes and tennis shoes handy. This is the best advice I can give someone that has lost weight. Exercise regularly and eat meals high in lean protein and low in fat. Eliminate sugar as much as possible. It has no nutritional value and can do a lot to sabotage your efforts at a healthy life. This does not mean you have to give up the things that you love, but you have to learn to set limits. Learning what it takes to be healthy and living by these principles eighty percent of the time will keep your healthy weight.

Using a weight loss calculator can help you determine, to the exact number, how much weight you have lost due to your weight loss plan. Many people swear by a weight loss calculator because it provides them the accurate numbers they need to complete their weight loss goals. It also helps give them a good indication as to where they are headed if they continue their current course of action. Using a calculator to determine your weight loss is a great motivating factor if actually seeing the numbers drop or go up is a way in which you are motivated to lose weight.
