Weight Loss Diet How to beat depression and come out a winner every time

I think just about everyone feels depressed at one time or another. Perhaps you don't get the promotion you were counting on at work, or you were struck down with an illness that makes you feel hopeless, or any of a number of other things derail you making you feel that life somehow just isn't fair and you become sad and overall depressed. This is certainly common because of the events mentioned above, but for some of us, these symptoms come on suddenly often not even associated with any specific event at all. Depression can strike without warning and zap your interest in activities you used to love or even life in general. If you notice yourself not reacting positively to things you used to love and feeling like you just don't want to do or become involved in anything at all, you may be feeling the symptoms of depression. If you notice these signs yourself, the thing you NEED to do is take action immediately. Below is a list of some things that may help you bounce back to your old self.

Exercise - If you are down, then get up and get active! Physical exercise has shown to be incredibly effective at curing the symptoms of depression. Set a realistic goal for your workout and hit it and this sense of accomplishment will do wonders for your outlook.

Check your diet - Unhealthy eating, especially a diet high in sugar and processed flour has actually been linked to depression in some folks. If your diet resembles the menu of a local bakery, it may be time for an eating overhaul.

Skip the drink - Alcohol is a depressant not to mention it is toxic to your body. If you are looking to kick the blues, then start by kicking the booze!

Give meditation a try - Sometimes the stresses of our daily life can be just too much too bear and if we just had a break to allow our mind to rest and relax, we could get rid of this negative energy that can often lead to a depressed. Meditation can be the perfect answer to help you relieve this stress.

Get your 8 hours EVERY night - Sometimes we become sleep deprived and we don't even know it. If your body has not had enough sleep, then you can bet it will catch up with you. Sometimes the symptoms you may be feeling that mimic depression may simply be because your body is exhausted. Try to make sure you get enough sleep every night as regularity is really the key here.

Make a list of things to be grateful for - Listen, sometimes it is hard to see depending on what we have going on in our life, but there is always someone out there who has it worse than us. If you put down on paper the things you have in your life that you are grateful for it can help put your mindset into perspective. Your family, your job, maybe a skill that you posses, put it all down. Keep this list with you and refer to it whenever you are feeling down.

I want to reiterate how serious depression can be. The tips above can and do help some who put them to use. The key thing is to do SOMETHING. If you are proactive and take action at the first signs of depression, then you can overcome it and come out on top!

Weight Loss Diet Reduce Risks of Cancer

This is the formula they suggest and I recommend if you want to know how to reduce your risk of cancer cells in the body.

Healthy Weight. Often people have in their mind what weight is healthy for them. Medically speaking, if your body mass index is rated 25 or higher you have an increased risk for many health issues. There is no specific link to cancer other than the fact that there is a greater percentage of people with cancer that are overweight than not. The higher your body mass index is the greater your risks are. There is also a connection to your waist size. For men if your waist is over 40 inches and 35 inches in women, you will have additional health risk as well. Generally, people that carry more weight in their waist are overweight but not always. If they are overweight and have an extra wide waist the risks of health problems are even greater. I know because I have been there personally (waist and weight).

Regular Physical Exercise. We all should be intentional and serious about our regular physical exercise program. Not only will exercise help maintain our healthy weight and great looks but our body releases chemicals that help our immune systems fight disease when we vigorously work out. Do not over do it though. If you require a personal trainer please seek professional help. But, you know your body and you know when to quit. If you are currently suffering health issues make sure you consult your physician before you start a rigorous exercise program. It is always important to discuss your diet and exercise plan with your doctor. Ultimately, you must exercise and increase your daily physical activity to reduce the risk of cancer cells in your body.

Eat A Balanced Healthy Diet. The emphasis is on fruit and vegetables. Have you noticed in the last few years all the claims of super foods, super fruits, antioxidant, and superior disease fighting fruit and vegetables. This is true. The American Cancer Society does not endorse one fruit or vegetable as one that will reduce the risk of cancer cells in the body. As you research you will learn that these fruit and vegetables will dramatically help prevent disease and they should all be a part of your regular diet. These are some fruit and vegetables known to fight cancer (in no particular order):broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, brussell sprouts, tomatoes, blueberries, cantaloupe, carrots, cherries, chilli peppers, figs, garlic, grapefruit, mangoes, oranges, strawberries, sweet potatoes, etc. Then add herbs, beans, nuts like peanuts and whole grains like oats and wheat and you will have a balanced diet of many foods to help prevent cancer. Even water boosts your metabolism, strengthens your immune system and helps fight disease. There are even fruit that are new to us in America like acai berries that help prevent cancer.

Avoid Alcohol and Other Unhealthy Food and Drinks. Not just alcohol but sugar, artificial sweeteners, soda and processed foods as much as possible if you want to reduce risk of cancer cells in the body.

Following this outline will help you live a long, active, healthy life avoiding and preventing cancer and many diseases.

How to Lose Weight Easily, Quickly and Effectively!

How to lose weight easily and quickly has become one of the most discussed topics in the world.
In the United States alone, 58 million people are overweight, 40 million obese and 3 million morbidly obese. Weight lose is not something hard to accomplish - yet people think differently.

Our passive style of life and the lack of time are the two main causes. We do not walk to work - we take our car. Most of us work at the office - sitting down 8 hours of the day - then we are so tired mentally that a physical exercise is out of question - besides we need to spend some quality time with our family and/or friends. The food. The 15-30 minutes lunch break at work is certainly not enough time to eat properly. We don't only eat fast, which causes overeating; we also eat low quality food, mostly fast food and snacks, such as chips and chocolate bars.

So How To Lose Weight Easily?

You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt --- known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

You'll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.

Losing weight and staying in shape is very important for our health. Did you know that:

-80% of type II diabetes related to obesity

-70% of cardiovascular disease related to obesity

Lose Weight Fast In The Right Way

Why is it that we all want to lose weight fast? The answer is simple; we all want to look better in the easiest way possible. However, fast weight loss means having to work hard for it combined with the right food intake and exercise. It is also worth considering moreover that fast does not necessarily mean achieving results in as little as a week. Nor does it mean having to resort to crash dieting or over-the-counter slimming pills.

Crash diets do not work if you plan to lose weight fast and expect to keep the weight down. The problem with crash dieting is that it is meant to survive only in the short term. Most people who opt for crash dieting do not have their minds made up in achieving a healthy and long range fitness plan.

Keeping an exercise regimen and burning calories would be a good solution to lose weight fast. Deprivation of food would create a tendency that you gain it all back again in the same pace. Your body strives to compensate for the weeks that you had deprived it by demanding for more calorie laden meals. The result is always a tragic mess. You end up gaining all the weight back, or gain even more weight in the process.

To be able to lose weight fast, but also to maintain your desired weight you must be able to choose the right food and keep a regular physical fitness routine. Choosing the right food means eating healthy meals regularly in the right amount and keeping track records of your weight and how many inches you intend to shed should always be checked.

Skipping meals and keeping certain food groups from your every day diet may also allow you to lose weight fast but will very unlikely keep you healthy. A carbohydrate-free diet will not allow for ample body energy needed in everyday activities. A full protein diet may also be expensive, and planning a meal that excludes certain food groups may be time consuming. Missing out on meals will result in gastric pains, nausea, and headaches.

Bear in mind that fast weight loss can only be effective if done in the legitimate way. Plan your weight loss practice and strive to stick with it as a form of discipline. There are safer ways to lose weight, without the risks of ugly repercussions in the future.

Vegetables and fruits, complex carbohydrates like squash and brown rice, lean protein like egg whites and white meat like chicken and seafood are all healthier choices. A daily sport or physical exercise will also help shed off unwanted pounds before long.

Slimming pills, surgery, and fad diets may or may not work for specific individuals. However, nothing beats staying healthy and keeping your weight down successfully. Lose weight fast, live healthy, and show the world a more confident you. My blog could be your best source in losing unwanted weight the fastest way.

Vitamin B12 Injections For Weight Loss

It is best to tackle the problem of being over weight before things get out of control and the problem at hands turns into obesity. In a bid to achieve this, very true to natural tendency, what most people try to do is lose weight without any exertion or physical exercise. Starting with the ‘awesome’ weight loss vibrators and sauna belts advertised on the television to herbal powders and Vitamin B12 injections for weight loss, the list is indeed a long one.

Vitamin B12 is also called Cobalamine, and is one of the eight water-soluble B vitamins. All of these B vitamins help the body in converting carbohydrates into glucose or sugar, which is burned in order to produce energy for the functioning of the body. These are often referred to as B complex vitamins, and are also essential for the breakdown of fats and proteins. These also help maintain muscle tone, protect the mucus lining in the digestive tract and mouth, and upkeep good health of the nervous system and organs like the liver, skin, hair and eyes. The other important function of Vitamin B12 is very similar to other B complex vitamins; Cobalamine is considered to be an excellent anti-stress vitamin since it is believed to enhance the healthy functioning of the immune system and improves the body’s ability to fight stressful conditions.

Keeping these properties in mind, the possible role it could play in helping the cause of weight loss programs has been noticed and implemented. Providing Vitamin B12 injections for weight loss is a common practice as part of proprietary weight-reducing programs at several weight loss clinics. Vitamin B12 and/or Vitamin B6 injections gives extra doses of these vitamins which has been found to frequently improve energy levels, general well-being, supports thyroid functions, boosts the right cardiac output by reducing water retention owing to its diuretic attributes.

As is the case with any drug, over doses of these vitamins can cause serious health threats and hence extreme caution must be exercised while using these. It may seem heavy on the wallet but these B12 shots must be taken under medical supervision to avoid serious complications. Some of these are panic attacks, mood swings, erratic blood sugar levels, joint pains, muscle cramps, etc.

As a rule, only those suffering from a diseased condition called Pernicious Anemia and a few other problems related to digestive disorders should ideally be treated with B12 shots. Vitamin B12 injections for weight loss is condemned by most parts of the medical fraternity, especially since there are no proven facts that indicate that these shots help in weigh reduction. Apart from the energy boosts which may help the otherwise lethargic over weight individual, concrete benefits of using this as a method to attain weight loss is yet to be proven. Always remember that hard work and sweat always pays when it comes to losing weight and it might be well worth the effort to invest time and effort into a healthy diet and exercise regimen than to opt for Vitamin B12 injections for weight loss.

Aging Wellness

Did you know you grow new brain cells every day? More on that further down. Did you know that you could enhance your brain's capacity to grow those new neurons?

Nobody told me aging wellness was going to be a risky business. One of the risky parts of aging looks to be the horde of well meaning professional types gathering on the horizon and preparing to descend on us Boomers to protect us from....getting older.

I suppose that sounds a bit hypocritical from someone with a Master's in counseling education, who has been one of the well meaning horde who descended on the domestic violence perpatrator.

However, I want to take care of my aging myself, because I have learned a few things over the years that really work for me.

I would love to be involved in a bunch of Boomer communities though, to exchange ideas, and get inspired by others my age who are grabbing life to the fullest and wringing some sweet juice out of it yet.

No young person can understand the experience of a Boomer or Senior, just like I cannot understand what women go through when they give birth, simply because I have not been there, so for a kid to explain to me that I need to do pre-retirement counseling planning when I cannot retire until I am about 80 years old is absurd.

Just so you know while I rant, the guys at my YMCA who are in their upper 80's call me a "kid" at 61.

So maybe I should get back to aging wellness, since I did start talking about working out.

There are a number of things we Boomers can do to prepare us for aging wellness, we can exercise, eat well, sleep well, manage out stress, and continue novel learning experiences to enhance our brain fitness, our neurogenesis, and our neuroplasticity, for one thing.

With a healthy physical and mental platform in place, we can begin to prepare for the work of aging wellness, which will include things like looking at end of life issues, a life review, retirement and estate planning, spirituality, and bereavement as our friends and family pass.

Hopefully, your aging wellness will not include elder abuse, a growing phenomena in our country.

Brainfitness and Aging Wellness

Ever heard of Michael Merzenich,Ph.D.? He is one of the world's leading neuroplasticity researchers whose Posit Science Brain Fitness program was just put to the test in the IMPACT study, which showed that the Boomer and Senior brain can learn new tricks, putting to rest that old saw, "Old Dogs Can't Learn New Tricks."

Brainfit for Life

Nobody knew about neuroplasticity or neurogenesis until about 10 or 12 years ago, and until just recently was there any information, to my knowledge about how to enhance those newly discovered capacities of the human brain so that we could age with more wellness.

I first came across Merzenich's work about a year ago, in the book by Norman Doidge, M.D., who interviewed Merzenich in THE BRAIN THAT CHANGES ITSELF.

Merzinich is our age folks, and has put together quite a tool, which has some real bearing on how we function in our senior years.

One of his programs is for senior drivers, which would allow us to keep our mobility and independence for longer.

So it would appear that we can exert some real control over our physical and emotional and cognitive well being throughout the life span.

Simon Evans,Ph.D. and Paul Burghardt,Ph.D. have written a very interesting e-book, or hard cover if you want that, called BRAINFIT FOR LIFE which culls the research for tidbits of information which we can use to keep our brains fit ourselves.

They describe what they call the pillars of brain fitness, physical exercise, nutrition which must include omega 3 fatty acid, sleep, stress management, and novel learning experiences which includes Michael Merzinich's Posit Science Brain Fitness Program.

The most important pillar of brain fitness for our aging wellness is physical activity/exercise, and I like the model that Scott and Angie Tousignant have put together for couples and if you look about half way down the page that link takes you to, you will meet and a couple using the Tousignant model who are in their 80's.

That is good enough for me. So on the days I do not go to the YMCA I do the Tousignant routine at home for a good workout.

Evans and Burghardt place quite a bit of emphasis on omega 3 fatty acid for our aging wellness.

The best source for Omega 3 fatty acids is fish, which means I have to monitor the fish for mercury pollution unless I want to use a supplement. Stress management is a key piece of the brain fitness and aging well pie.

The best stress management tool is deep breathing, and when I say that to my clients, they all nod sagely and go right back to breathing shallow, so I teach a wonderful stress management tool called HeartMath which is heart rate variability biofeedback, which teaches folks to manage the time between heart beats.

Once the HeartMath process is learned, I can cue the physiology on demand, on any given heart beat and the chemistry in my body changes from adrenalin and cortisol to DHEA, which is the anti-aging hormone.

And the HeartMath process helps me access my higher perceptual centers in my brain.

Evans and Burghardt also talk about the dual n back task and research that has been done on that brain fitness tool.

It turns out folks that we can actually increase our IQ if we want to now, simply by doing a computer program.

It is not as long as the Posit Science Program, and works a little different slice of the aging wellness brain fitness pie, but is just as effective.

Now that we have some cognitive and phsiological tools in place, I think it is time to begin attending to the process of conscious aging, which we will talk about next article.

Fad Diets & Weight Loss

A diet may be a fad diet or a healthy diet. People often start a fad diet for fast weight loss. They do not realize that quick weight loss and a fad diet is not the answer for their weight problem. They may lose weight initially but that may not
be permanent. The fad diets recommend to eat a certain group of foods and eliminate some foods or a group of foods from the diet. Such diets are not without a danger.

Some of the fad diets are:

Grapefruit Diet: This diet recommends to eat only grapefruit.

Low Carb Diet: This diet recommends to eat foods low in carbohydrates.

Low Fat Diet: This diet recommends to eat foods low in fats or eliminate fats in diet.

High Protein Diet: This diet recommends to eat only protein rich foods, eliminating carbohydrates

Note that these diets recommend to eliminate some food groups that are essential for a healthy body. These diets may offer only a temporary solution and are not based on the recommendationsof the food pyramid. On using a fad diet, you may
lose weight fast, but lateron you may again gain weight and your body may be deficient in many nutrients that can develop health problems.

A good diet should provide all the major nutrients including dietary fibers, carbohydrates, proteins, good fats, minerals, and vitamins. The best way to tackle overweight and obesity problem is to eat a balanced diet and do some physical exercise daily.

You should not start any diet if it does not allow any major group of the food pyramid. The negative calorie diet is based on neagtive calorie foods that include vegetables, fruits,
legumes, lentils, and beans, so it allows all the major nutrients in the diet necessary for good health. By eating these foods, you will never feel hungry and you will never gain
weight. If you remain physically active and eat these foods, you will deop pounds permanently.

Health And Wellness Following The Baby Boomers

If you are a "Baby Boomer", you have noticed that your health may be a bit different than in your younger years. I am not a "B-Boomer", but I am right behind you! I am in my 30's and notice things don't sit the way they did when I was in my 20's! Ah, The good ol' days! When gravity didn't affect me as much, and I could eat pizza without seeing it appear quickly on my legs and belly, as well as behind me. But such is this time of our life. So, what are we to do? What are the things that affect us the most. We are all different, some more fit than others, some more stressed , and some, unfortunately, with greater physical needs. Some of us, if not most, are affected by aches and pains of one kind or another.

Joint pain, allergies, weight challenges, or just feeling stressed and run down from poor diet. I take that back, not "just stressed". That is the main cause of illness today. Stress can change your health on a cellular level. Check the medical journals, and make your own assessments. The fact remains, stress is a major problem today with all age groups, but we have the "baby boomers " to thank for being a massive part of those studies. The one's affected most by stress, pollution, poor diet, and the "at the time" undiscovered risks involved. Food additives, smoking, and other things we only learned can be damaging AFTER it began affecting them. But now is the time to counteract the things that damage us.

Should one bother to start taking care of themselves now? Absolutely! How? There are many ways. If you are bothered by your weight, you should definitely start some physical activity, but only after your doctor gives you the green light ! Some people may have underlying physical limitations they may not be aware of ! When I worked in a popular vitamin and supplement shop, a woman entered and asked for weight loss pills, a.k.a. "fat burners". I asked her if she had any heart problems in her family history, and she replied, "Yes, I got the problem from these pills, here..." as she pointed to a top selling "thermogenic" or "fat burning" pill. She had taken them without regard that she had a history of heart problems, and was STILL wanting to take a fat burning pill!! Walking and 10 glasses of water a day is still the best way to start raising your metabolism. Please, before you run down to your local health, or vitamin shop, check with your doctor, ask what he thinks about the supplements you wish to use, and check with the company that produces them. If you have a family history of serious, or potentially serious medical problems, you need to cover your bases, and be informed. Ask any relatives if your grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc., have any hereditary medical problems. Some physical traits, and underlying problems can go back several generations, so use great caution.

The same goes for physical exercise! I thought I was Wonder Woman when I was 29, after a large weight gain, and decided to get serious fast! Too serious, and too fast! I compressed 2 disks while failing to stretch and warm up. I was also doing the exercises "incorrectly". It took me 3 years to recover. Some aren't as lucky. Some damage, that takes only a split second to happen, can last a lifetime. Painfully limiting you for good.Take 15 minutes or more to stretch properly, then start your exercising. You have a plethora of references to choose from on correct exercise techniques these days! Please, use them! The ideal is a well trained , certified personal trainer. There are affordable health clubs in most cities, that offer a few FREE sessions with one of their certified trainers, to get you on the right track. The alternative is studying exercises yourself. Get a reputable magazine on fitness. There are quite a few, and I enjoy several. The tips are great, and most can even be looked up online. Do a Google search, or Yahoo!, and see what comes up.

What vitamins and supplements should you use? What is the best? There are several good brands available, mostly available at health food stores. The best ones are the "natural vitamins". The others are synthetic, and most of those can't be absorbed into the body. You should take your vitamins and herbal supplements with food, and plenty of water for your body to absorb them properly. Herbal supplements and vitamins taken on an empty stomach can just wash right through your system, not being absorbed the way they should be! Never take vitamin C or ZINC on an empty stomach. It can severely upset your stomach, and cause severe nausea or vomiting.

When I worked in a supplement and vitamin shop, people always complained about the prices. They'd say,"I don't want to pay so much just for vitamins, and supplements! It's too much!" Is it? Really? Most people will spend ridiculous amounts of money on things that won't benefit their body or mind , improve their health, or relieve pain, but will spend for anything else. Ironic, isn't it? A great pair of heels on sale for $85, that will hurt your feet after nearly 1/2 an hour of walking in them, or cool socks for the top of your golf clubs...is that worth more than your health? I didn't think so. Well, unless you are more committed to shoes or golf clubs, of course. But when it comes to your health, you should be taking care of it. Most people don't appreciate it, until it starts to deteriorate. You think I thought twice about my lower back health until I injured it? Not really. Did I think about my great energy levels until they started depleting? Nope ! We all do now, don't we! The right diet and exercise will always help, and the supplements you need are based on what your body tells you.

First, doctor approving of course, a good multi-vitamin. I choose to use Lifepak Nano, by Pharmanex. It uses "nano technology" to deliver what your body needs on a molecular level. Also, Essential Fatty Acids, like Marine Omega. Why? It is a natural anti-inflammatory and benefits EVERY part of the body. Everything! Skin, hair, organs, blood vessels, joints, brain function...all of it! Why do you think your mom or grandmother chased you around the house with that cod liver oil on a spoon?! Ask around, it was a common practice in the early part of the 20th century. My mom tells me about her mother doing it her in Ireland. She tried that with my brother and me a few times, but we could run faster than she could. It is one of the best things you can put in your body. Most seafood is so high in mercury levels, we can only eat it once or twice a week safely.

That is why this is a key in your supplemental health. After those two are acquired into your health regimen, you must ask yourself, " What else would be helpful to my health?" Joint pain? There are exceptional joint formula products available, such as Pharmanex Cartilage Formula. Menopause, or hormonal imbalances? Try Estera. There are Phase I for childbearing years helping maintain healthy hormone levels, and mood balance when usually needed. It does contain Chasteberry, which is a key ingredient, and can counter-act the birth control pill. I used Chasteberry for the first time when I suffered from PMS, and was trying to conceive my second child. It helped for both those reasons. I was less moody, and soon pregnant! I have recommended it several times to couples trying to conceive, who came to the vitamin and supplement store where I worked, and they returned to me grateful, and expecting. I am thankful for that. Phase II is for "perimenopausal years", and helps with mild mood swings, hot flashes, and occasional anxiousness. Phase III is the maintenance formula for "postmenopausal years". Digestive health, Vein health, Eye Formula, and Immune System support products are also available.

If extra weight is an issue, I recommend TRA and HTP complex. I use them in my weight loss regimen, and appreciate their "stimulant free" quality. HTP complex balances serotonin levels, which helps you feel positive while losing weight. The TRA complex is a "natural thermogenic" product, helping the body burn fat more effectively when exercising. There are other weight loss products available, as well, all working to help achieve a desired goal. There are great products available for energy levels, such as Energy Formula, and CordyMax Cs-4, for vitality and stamina, while cutting down on fatigue.

Other products available cover a wide range of personal needs from cellular protection, anxiety, bone health, cardiovascular health, and much more. There is even a great product that helps provide your body with antioxidants it needs, and doesn't usually get, due to poor food quality. It is the main reason for supplemental health needs. The soil isn't as plentiful with the minerals the body needs, and therefore what comes from it is lacking in vitamins and minerals. Combine that with food that is irradiated, and what is left for the body to absorb? Mostly empty substance. G3 is derived from the "Gac" fruit found in Southern Asia. Healthy eating habits, high antioxidants from naturally rich fruits and vegetables, help contribute to the well known longer lifespan found in Asia. G3 has an abundance of antioxidants, and great health benefits missing from our everyday fruits and vegetables.

And in addition to your new physical outlook, please keep in mind, the "stress factor". Stress is serious, and can damage you body, mind and spirit. I highly recommend taking the time to "re-create yourself". It's what recreation means to do. If you take time to rest, enjoy a hobby, or a walk, read, or create something -if you've tried it before or not, it would do your mind a world of good. Everyone needs down time. Time to enjoy existing, on a peaceful, creative level. Play with your dog, take a pottery or painting class, or just walk in the park. Find the time to focus on what makes you feel good just being alive. Visualize it, and write it down.Take the time to be thankful for what you have and love in life. A positive outlook, and mental attitude will carry you a long way. Also take time to pray or meditate, or just be still in a quiet place, and feel joy for all your good qualities. Learn to appreciate yourself, as well as others. I greatly recommend checking out books of self improvement at your local book store. They have great books on positive thinking, and the benefits it has on our health. I want you to feel awesome!

For more information on the products mentioned above, please visit www.liseguillet.com, and see "feel awesome" to see what products will benefit your life. Each product comes with information pages, and benefits information. There is a friendly well trained staff available to answer your product questions at 1-800-487-1000. Pharmanex is a brand of Nu Skin Enterprises , a great company that does a lot of good for people all around the world, as well as here at home.
I hope you enjoy your new start on health, and enjoy the benefits of a long, and very healthy, active life. All the best to you!

Wellness Of The Body – What Does It Mean?

Wellness is the state of good physical and emotional health, and is further enhanced by a balanced diet, exercise, and healthy living habits. Nutrition refers to providing our bodies with the right foods and nutrients, in our ability to keep it healthy and functioning properly. Healthy living habits are those that do not cause us harm, such as avoiding smoking, drugs, and drinking excessive alcohol.

Wellness of the body occurs when all the body functions, both physical and mental are performing at optimal levels. Achieving total body wellness is more than just going to the gym, though.

Many factors contribute to our body's wellness. The daily intake of the right food, vitamins, and water are necessary. It is also important to think about the physical conditioning our body to deal with life.

Physical exercise is key to the wellness of the body. Trying to achieve good nutrition without good physical health is pointless. They work together.

The body is comprised of all of our physical processes, as well as our mental processes. When we think about the wellness of the body, we usually think about weight and muscle tone. But what about all of our other organs and functions?

It is important to consider all of our body's parts, inside and out. This can be achieved through daily physical activity that addresses the body as a whole, and by taking the time to rest and restore our bodies through sleep.

By using our resources intelligently and educating ourselves about total body wellness, it is not a hard goal to achieve. It can be a lengthy process, though. Years of abusing your body can take its toll, and getting it into good condition will take time and patience.
Taking care and consideration for every part of your body will result in total body wellness.

Everything will work together efficiently, and life will be more enjoyable. The human body, when treated properly, is a well-oiled machine. It is complex and powerful, and can withstand abuse and neglect, but for only so long. The human body is also home to our mind and soul, and when the body is in tune, our mind and soul can be strong as well.
